Raheela Suleman (b. 1996) is a London-based writer and director. She explores
The Unseen in both her written and visual work. Her films have screened at
Tate Britain, ICA, BFI, Genesis Cinema, All Points East Festival 2018, P21 Gallery & LUX
Moving Image. She is an alumna of Other Cinemas Film School, Barbican Young Poets
& Chisenhale Gallery. Her film, 'SABR' (2023), premiered at the London Short Film Festival 2024
& screened at ICO Spring Screening Days at BFI alongside 'the variable' (2023). She is a recipient
of The Uncertain Kingdom's Belief Grant 2024. Her film, 'How The Willow Felt', is currently in
development with Sleepwalker Studios.
